Pak should take terrorism seriously, says India
India today said the ongoing peace talks with Pakistan cannot progress till the neighbouring country gets serious on the terrorist front.
India on Friday said the ongoing peace talks with Pakistan cannot progress till the neighbouring country gets serious on the terrorist front.
Though terrorism has now become a global issue, Pakistan should give a serious thought to the problem, Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur told reporters in Ludhiana.
"We are sensitive on the issue (of terrorism) because Pakistan is our closest neighbour," she said, adding that training given to terrorists in Pakistan was impeding the talks.
To a question, she said the Centre has deleted names of 25 persons from the black list carrying names of those involved in terror activities in Punjab.
This step has been taken after the verification of the list by the Punjab government as desired by the Centre, she said.
