THE VEHICLES running at the third Udai Mud Challenge Rally were scrutinised at Green Woods Country Club in the City on Friday.
The competition, organised by Udai Sports, Cultural, Social and Educational Society at Kaliasot Dam, would be held on June 11 from 8 am.
The participants have been asked to come with the required papers and proper vehicles. A meeting was held on the occasion in which participants discussed their problems with the organisers.
Talking to the participants, patron-in-chief of the organising committee Dhruv Narayan Singh assured them of their safety. “We want to carry the tradition of successfully organising the event like last two years,” assured Singh. Organisers, after inspection, finalised 30 vehicles for the competition.
However, patron of the organising committee Aruneshwar Singh Deo said that others have been asked to come on Saturday with vehicles of the required standard.
“We are expecting a couple of vehicles with the required standard,” said Aruneshwar Singh Deo. Udai Society president Vijesh Lunawat said that full transparency would be adopted in deciding the winner. “The results will be prepared at the venue on the same day. We want full transparency in deciding the winners”, said Lunawat.
This year the wining prize of the rally will be Rs one lakh which is almost double than the last year. A team of the organising committee will visit the venue on Saturday.
Giving details regarding the track, the organisers endeavoured to answer all queries put up by the participants. Shehla Masood, Rajat Mohan Verma, Uttam Thakur and others were present on the occasion.
