"The PDP says my travels are an unnecessary drama. That is the best acknowledgement of my efforts and I take it as a compliment. Thanks a lot chaps," Omar wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday described Omar's pronouncements on the situation in the Valley following heavy snowfall as "juvenile pranks".
She accused the Omar-led government of failure saying the crisis in the Valley was not due to natural calamities but due to misgovernance.
