Hitting out at Left parties, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday accused them of indulging in 'self-praise' by claiming that they had done all the 'good things' for the country while supporting the UPA coalition.
The Left parties have been claiming that all good things the UPA government did was because of them and all bad things were prevented by them. "This is self-praise. I think history will judge," the prime minister told reporters on the sidelines of the Defence Investiture Ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
Asked about indications that the Left was not averse to back Congress in the post-poll scenario, Singh said, "I hope that situation will not arise. We will be able to form government."
