Police arrest Rane's supporters in Nasik

A dozen supporters of former revenue minister Narayan Rane were rounded up by city police when they trying to burn an effigy of former Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and MPCC Chief Manikrao Thakare at central bus stand today, police said.

Supporters headed by one Rammi Rajput gathered near the bus stand protesting Congress party for not selecting Rane's name as chief minister and trying to burn effigies when police prevented them and picked up in a police van.
