December 17, 1995: An AN 26 aircraft dropped huge cache of sophisticated arms and over villages of Purulia district in West Bengal.

December 22, 1995: The aircraft was identified and forced to land at Mumbai’s Sahar airport. Five Latvian crews along with arms dealer Peter Bleach were arrested for dropping arms over Purulia. Key conspirator Kim Davy managed to disappear from the airport.
Mid March 1996: CBI submits chargesheet in Bankshall court.
2000: Latvian crews got Presidential pardon and released from jail.
February 4, 2004: Peter Bleach also got Presidential Pardon and released from Jail.
