A quake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale, shook Tanimbar Islands in Indonesia on Tuesday, Indian Meteorological Office said in Pune.

The earthquake with its epicenter at Latitude 7.9 degree North and Longitude 133.3 degree East off Tanimbar Islands, was recorded at 7.08 pm, the IMD office said on Wednesday.
