The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress' Executive Committee on Wednesday approved the suspension of Jagat Singh, son of former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh, and 11 others for party indiscipline.
The RPCC had on August 18 suspended Jagat Singh, a party MLA from Laxmangarh (Alwar district) for his "misconduct and indiscipline" and asked him to send a reply within 14 days.
The PCC executive meet also suspended 12 senior party leaders Rajveer Singh, Laxman Singh, Nasru Khan, Jogendra Singh, Yashwant Singh Ramu, Nihal Meena (all from Bharatpur), Ali Hussain, Tikaram Juli, Jakir Khan, Shabana Khan and Bhacchu Singh Tiwari (all from Alwar district).
All these leaders had attended a 'swabhimaan rally' organised by a section of Jat leaders recently defying the party whip, PCC spokesman Param Navdeep Singh said.
