A medical team monitoring Rahul Mahajan's health on Monday found him fit to give a statement to the police. The police had arrived at the hospital to question him on what led to the death of his father's aide Vivek Moitra and his own clinical condition after a weekend party at his home.

Doctors have reviewed Rahul's situation this morning and found him fit to give a statement. He is to be shifted out of the ICU, a medical bulletin of Apollo hospital said in New Delhi.
