Overnight heavy rains triggered a landslide near a slum locality in suburban Jogeshwari, police said in Mumbai on Wednesday.

No casualty was reported in the incident at Saripur Nagar on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, they said, adding operations were on to clear the debris.
Meanwhile, heavy downpour continued in the metropolis for the second consecutive day today.
Another landslide in Konkan region disrupted traffic on the Sindhudurg-Kolhapur Road on Wednesday morning.
The landslide occurred at around 6 am in the Ghats in Kurud area of Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra Disaster Management Cell said in Mumbai.
Public Works Department (PWD) personnel were pressed into service to clear the debris and one side of the road was opened for traffic at around 8 am, it said.
