"Reconsider Pondy seat choice"

Actor Anantharaj has urged PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss to reconsider his decision to field a candidate from the Pondi LS seat.

Cine actor Anantharaj has urged PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss to reconsider his decision to field a candidate from the Pondicherry Lok Sabha seat as the party's candidate was not wellknown in the constituency.

Ananthraj who hails from Pondicherry claimed that the candidate and the PMK president's namesake Prof Ramadoss was not familiar to the people of Pondicherry.

"I would be forced to contest as an independant if the PMK did not heed to my advice on the issue," Ananthraj told reporters here.

Congress, an ally of the PMK, had expressed its keenness to contest from Pondicherry at the time of allocation of seats.
