"Today is a rest day for the players. They will start net practice from Tuesday at the Chinnaswamy stadium" where the third and final Test against Pakistan will begin Thursday, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) officials said.
The Pakistan team, which too arrived along with the Indian team, is likely to have two-three hour practice sessions.
"Since both the teams are tired after the five-day gruelling Kolkata Test, they have been advised complete rest for the day.
"The Pakistan team, however, is expected to visit the stadium for a short practice later in the day," the official said.
Although a majority of the Indian players arrived on Sunday night, captain Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Nehra and Gautam Gambhir will fly in on Monday.
Hectic preparations are on at the stadium.
After India's thrilling victory on Sunday, ticket sales for the Bangalore Test have picked up. About 12,000 tickets are being sold for the public daily.
