“Restrictions will continue on Tuesday in areas falling under jurisdiction of Zadibal and Rainawari police stations,” a senior police officer said here.

Restrictions were imposed in parts of Srinagar on Monday to contain protests called by Shia community leaders to protest the execution of Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr Al Nimr by Saudi government.

All pedestrian and vehicular movement in the areas, placed under restrictions, is being disallowed by contingents of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

No untoward incident has occurred anywhere so far, police added.
