A criminal revision petition has been filed against the Rae Bareili special court's ruling, giving a clean chit to Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani in the Babri Masjid demolition case, in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court.

Justice YR Tripathi of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad HC on Friday fixed April 20 as the next date of hearing on the petition filed by one Haji Mahboob and another against the special court's order.

The special judicial magistrate of Rae Bareili passed the order on September 19, 2003, dropping the proceedings against Advani.
