Riot-hit examinees at no loss

UP BOARD examinations would be held in the State capital as per schedule from Monday. Students residing in Aminabad and Kaiserbagh police circles too would take their exams on Monday. These students were exempted from taking the Hindi I paper exam on March 4 because of the riot that broke out in their localities.

Students who could not take the exams due to riot would be required to inform the DIOS office in writing through their respective school Principals who would verify that the students concerned missed exams because of riots in his/her locality. 

Vikas Srivastava, DIOS said that on instructions of district magistrate RN Tripathi a decision had been taken to hold examinations for all candidates in the city.

Even those from affected localities who missed their Hindi I paper would be allowed to take their Hindi II paper scheduled for the Monday morning shift.
Fresh exam dates for those who missed the exam would be announced later.
