Centre had announced seven days of national mourning.

Opposition parties have slammed the CM for not maintaining minimum respect and decorum at the occasion.

“On Monday we lost our former president and here is a chief minister who is busy dancing and playing golf. This attitude shows perversion,” said Siddhartha Bhattacharya, president, Assam BJP.

Gogoi later apologised for the incident.
