Sachin should target 15,000: Dravid
But Dravid, who has till date amassed 7523 runs in 88 Tests, said he has not set any timeframe for himself to reach the five-figure mark.
Having watched from the non-striker's end little master Sachin Tendulkar achieve the rare feat of completing 10,000 Test runs, Indian vice-captain Rahul Dravid on Wednesday urged the Mumbaikar to set a target of 15,000.

"Ten thousand cannot be the real target for Sachin... His real target should be 15,000," Dravid told nwewspersons in the post-match media conference.
Dravid and Tendulkar had an interesting chat in the middle as the latter had no idea of his achievement when the spectators at the Eden Gardens broke into spontaneous applause after he flicked an Abdul Razzaq delivery to long leg and completed a single to reach 27.
"I did not have anything in mind. All of a sudden, the crowd reaction was different and I asked Rahul what happenned. And he said 'You want me to tell?'
"Then I said you don't need to tell. I know what has happenned," Tendulkar disclosed.
Dravid refused to draw a comparison among the five members of the 10,000 club — Allan Border, Steve Waugh, Sunil Gavaskar, Brian Lara and Tendulkar.
"All of them are greats... legends. I just hate judging and comparing people. But to score so many runs you need class and play that long a period."
Dravid, who has till date amassed 7523 runs in 88 Tests, said he has not set any timeframe for himself to reach the five figure mark.
"My immediate target is to play the next Test and get off the mark," he said in a lighter vein.
Menawhile, Tendulkar said he was yet to receive a call from Gavaskar, the only other Indian in the 10,000 club after the innings.
"You know we are not allowed to use cell phones," a smiling Tendulkar said.
