UP RAJARSHI Tandon Open University will hold a function for South Asia Foundation (SAF) scholarship distribution on Saturday (April 15) at 11 am in the Prashasnik Bhawan, 12/12 Kamla Nehru Marg (besides KP Girls Inter College), Allahabad . The list of selected students finally approved by the SAF headquarters is displayed on the notice board of the university.Selected students are required to reach the venue well in time along with their identity cards and other relevant documents. Vice-Chancellor of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University Prof KNS Yadav would be the chief guest and would distribute the scholarships, informed coordinator, SAF scholarship committee Prof AN Dwivedi.

Postponed
The entrance test of Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir: Gangagurukulam situated at Phaphamu, which was scheduled for April 15, has been postponed. It would now be held on April 22 at 8 am, informed principal Kamini Singhal, in a press release.

Painting contest
A DRAWING -CUM-PAINTING competition was organised for children at Cobra Nursery School, New Cantt, Allahabad on April 12 under the aegis of HQ Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and Allahabad Sub Area, Allahabad. Two categories of children took part in the competition, ie children studying in upper UKG (5 years of age) and children of classes I to V (below 10 years of age).

Approximately 200 children took part in the competition with full enthusiasm and vigour. The competition ended with prize distribution to the winners by president Army Wives Welfare Association of New Cantt, Allahabad Shashi Yadav.
