Sensex up 7.67 pts in early trade

The benchmark Sensex gained 7.67 points in early trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday, on select buying by funds.

The BSE 30-share index rose to 12,464.09 in first fifteen minutes of trading.

Similarly, the wide based National Stock Exchange index, Nifty, also quoted higher at 3,588.95 points.

Meanwhile, trading in shares of United Western Bank has been suspended from Tuesday.
