At least seven persons were killed and 30 others injured when a bus fell into Lobo river at Sonapur in Meghalaya, police said on Friday.

The mishap took place on Thursday night when the bus was coming to Agartala from Guwahati.

So far, seven bodies including that of a woman have been recovered and the injured rushed to Umkiyang hospital in Jowai district of Meghalaya and Silchar Medical College in Assam, DIG, Police Control, Nepal Das said.
