Mumbai's Most Stylish superstar
He started off with the TV series Fauji, in 1988 and is touted to be the reigning king of Bollywood. Like his career, Shah Rukh Khan's style sense has also seen a complete transformation through the years.
From a full beard to the suave goatee, the ponytail to a neat crew cut - not only has SRK always been up for experimentation, but has also gone that extra mile just to make a character look convincing.
This splendid quality came to the fore when he underwent a complete makeover for his film, Om Shanti Om, in 2006. After months of rigorous workouts and stringent diets, the actor emerged with a smouldering six-pack at the age of 40.
But it is on the red carpet when fans get to see the actor's personal style in its truest form. Dressed in crisp suits and armed with his million-dollar smile, Shah Rukh is easily the centre of attraction at any do. For his boyish charm and alluring persona, he most definitely is Mumbai's Most Stylish Superstar.
"Style is when you appear extremely comfortable in what you are wearing. Style is also not limited to clothing; it's about how you live and speak. All of it adds to one's style quotient. Shah Rukh carries himself very well. He is very charming and he seems very comfortable whether he wears a suit or jeans and a T-shirt," ace celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar says.
