"Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, but the life of the candle will not be shortened." My philosophical cornerstone is when a little deed of kindness can make a world of difference. My firm belief in generosity spurs from a special stress given to life skills and environment, while pursuing the curriculum at Bal Bharati Noida.

A whole new gamut of activities define life at Bal Bharati. Drawing an alliance with ANAWA, the Interact Club spread computer awareness among the children of the economically weak. Blood donation camps, regular visits to Sorkha village to promote hygiene, visit to old-age homes, anti-cracker and anti-tobacco crusades, 'Save Earth' campaign et al brings to fore an intense desire to give back to society positively and unconditionally.

My initiation into environmentally friendly practices took shape within the portals of Bal Bharati Noida. Recycling of e-waste, newspapers and used books along with adopting good practices like micro-scale chemistry which ensures minimal use of chemicals in the labs. Conservation and preservation has always been the hallmark of the school.

My central belief rests on the premise that one's voice of conscience has to be heard above the din of merriment or discord. My school inspires me to endeavour in order to spread an epidemic of smiles. Let not the noise of others' opinions drown out the inner voice.
