He has ruled the ramp for years, been a part of thumping music videos, has had a compulsive stint with business (he had to be his dad's helping hand for a while) and is ready to take on Bollywood now. He was recently featured in the video of Tarana's Yeh kaun hai and Abhijeet Pohankar's Piya bawari.

However, this dude had to go though a grueling corporate training session before he could start with the film. Surprised? Well… that is what Nandita Singha (the director of Main, Rony Aur Jony) made all her actors do before she started shooting the film. This is what Aditya Bal has to say, "I was called for the audition by Nandita Singha for her debut Main Rony Aur Jony. I was really surprised why I have been asked all those corporate questions? Any way, at the end of the day I bagged the role and that is what matters."

Was Bollywood his childhood dream? "Not at all. As a kid I wanted to be a lorry driver, so that I could roam around the country and eat at the dhabas. However, I helped my architect dad for few years before I branched out into modeling… and that is where my story begins," discloses Aditya.

walked the ramp first time in 1998 for designer Ashish Soni . Since then he has represented various designers and different fashion shows. He has brands like Liberty, Levi's Low Rise Jeans, Diesel, Raymond, Boro Plus, Maruti Cars, Bazee.com, Motorola, Sony Ericsson to his credit.

However, the modeling world couldn't charm him for long. Aditya took a long break from ramp. He discloses his reasons for a self-imposed sabbatical, "Having done modeling for five years (from 1998 to 2002), I felt I was not noticed any where except the ramp. I was needed to help my dad in his business, so I had to go back to Delhi. However, the break was a boon for me. Instead of people from the fashion industry ignoring me, I was suddenly being noticed and offered good work. I got the offer for Main Rony Aur Jony. My journey in Bollywood has just started and I hope people will love me."

Disclosing more about Main Rony Aur Jony, Aditya says "I play Rony in the film, a very simple person like you or me. Rony is an artist, who has failed in his endeavour. The film is his journey about his survival and how from being a loser he succeeds in his life."

The film is a comedy drama. An anxious Aditya is looking forward for its release.
