From conducting employee sustainability workshops within the Organising Committee, to sustainable infrastructure workshops and guidelines for venue owners, the OC CWG has been at the forefront of the sustainability agenda for the Games adding further impetus to the GNCTD’s outstanding sustainability achievements.
The Organising Committee 2010 Commonwealth Games Delhi under its environmental programme will commemorate the World Environment Day 2010 through rallies to promote sustainable transport and a symbolic tree plantation exercise. Such celebrations are being conducted in conjunction with the Department of Environment, GNCTD.
