I am walking endlessly on the path of destiny, fast approaching my end, closing my ears against all noise, writes Srishti Punjani.

I am walking endlessly on the path of destiny
Fast approaching my end
Closing my ears against all noise
Offering myself to harm
I land up in a grassy plot
Where everything is lush and green
There is plenty to talk about
There is plenty to make merry
But then I reach the desert
Lifeless and barren
With cracks widening apart
And the scorching heat tearing my skin
I also experience some rainy spells
Some slippery ground before me
I see the autumn trees
And feel the chill of the winter
And then I ask myself
Where am I heading?
The answer that resounds is
That I am trapped in a viscous circle
A circle of life and death
And some day I'll meet my end
My preordained alliance with the almighty
