She came to the limelight when she beat Olympic champion, Marion Jones, in the run up event to the Olympics. In March 2004 at the 10th IAAF World Indoor Championships, Tatjana took both the triple and long jump titles and set three world records. No other athlete has ever set three world records at one World Indoor Championships. To top it off, Tatjana's triple jump distance toppled a six-year-old record.

She gave birth in September 2002 and, amazingly, was back in jumping form by January 2003. On July 4 of the same year, she won the triple at the Golden League of Paris.

Her form has been phenomenal and she could just outshine Marion in this category. She has racked up four stunning track and field performances till now. On June 23rd in Greece, Tatyana made three triple jumps farther than 15 meters. That triptych of triples was more than enough to secure Tatyana a first place finish at the 20th Vardinoyannia EAA Permit Meeting.
