The agitating teachers and other staff also handed over a memorandum to the divisional commissioner for necessary action, to end the continuing harassment from administrative officials of the OEF.

The teachers alleged that the officials are trying to hand over the control of the school, to Sachdeva PT College for personal gains. Besides, they alleged that a monthly rent of Rs 18,307 instead of Rs 1 per month (like other defence establishments) was being charged from the welfare institute. Also, Rs 20 lakh has been forcibly taken on account of lease rent till 2030, alleged protesting teachers.

A press communiqué issued by office superintendent Gaurav Dixit said that the apex court has allowed the school to continue till year 2010, but the OEF administration was trying to get the recognition of school cancelled. The reason stated was, Anjali Varshaneya, wife of earlier joint general manger of OEF, Navneet Varshneya, was appointed as principal of school without requisite qualification of B Ed. Later, she was removed.

This was not liked and with the help of other officials, all efforts were on for the closure of the school, alleged Gaurav Dixit.

Abha Bajpai, Rita Tripathi, Madhulata Tripathi, Raj Chauhan, Geeta Trivedi, Kusum Mishra, Mithlesh Shukla, Shashank Mishra, Lavina Sadwill, Vishnu Awashthi and Gaurav Dixit were present in Dharna.
