The teams were received at the NSC Bose International Airport by the officials of Cricket Association of Bengal and they drove straight to the city accompanied by security force.
Both the teams are expected to have a feel of the Eden turf on Monday and then have an extensive practice session on Tuesday before they resume their onfield rivalry on Wednesday.
Inzamam-ul-Haq led Pakistani team is on a high after staging a great fightback to save the Mohali Test and would be looking forward to come up with even a better performance in Kolkata.
On the other hand Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly would be under additional pressure to come out with a positive result at his home ground.
