Acting on a tip off, Rashtriya Rifle troops conducted a search operation in Phulwari forests of Thanamandi area on Saturday morning and busted a terrorist hideout, they said, adding however, the terrorist had managed to escape before the arrival of troops.

Three AK magazines, 22 rounds of AK, six grenades and one radio set were recovered from the spot.

Search operation was on to nab the terrorists, they added.
