Three persons crushed to death by speeding train in UP

Three persons are crushed to death by a speeding train at Ghasara railway station on the Kanpur-Delhi section.

Three persons were crushed to death by a speeding train at Ghasara railway station on the Kanpur-Delhi section on Thursday, police sources said.

The mishap occurred when the victims got off a stationary train at the station to procure water, the sources said adding as they were crossing the track on the other side they were crushed to death by the speeding Howra-Delhi-Kalka mail.

Senior railway officials have reached the spot and the incident is being investigated, the sources added.
