Traders to rally tomorrow against MCD sealing drive

Thousands of Delhi traders will join hands to protest against the MCD's sealing drive and regularisation of unauthorised colonies in the capital.

Thousands of Delhi traders will join hands on Sunday to protest against the MCD's sealing drive, high conversion charges and regularisation of unauthorised colonies in the capital.

The rally to be held under the umbrella of the Confederation of All India Traders, will be attended by traders of more than 500 small and big trade bodies of different parts of Delhi.

"Prominent trade leaders from these states would also participate in the rally," CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said.

Apart from the rally, the traders would also hold discussions on FDI in retail, rationalisation and simplification of VAT and other tax laws etc.
