Two Vaishnodevi pilgrims die of heart attack

Two pilgrims on their way to cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi died after they suffered heart attack in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

38-year-old Rajinder Joshi of Mumbai was returning back after paying obeisance at the cave shrine when he had a severe cardiac arrest at Adh Kuwari on Thursday.

Joshi, rushed to a hospital in Katra town, was declared as brought dead, they said, adding his body has been handed over to the family members after post-mortem.

Another 58-year-old pilgrim Rama Jha of Bihar died due to heart attack at Ban Ganga enroute cave shrine of Vaishno Devi last night, they said.
