UPHCL MD orders FIR against imposter

A retrenched employee of the Directorate of Hathkargah Nigam approached the UPHCL on September 13, 2006 and signed in the officers’ attendance register from January 23, 2006 to January 31, 2006. He claimed to be a senior manager of the UPHCL.

Interestingly, some senior officers of the corporation were aware of his action. Sources said that he also submitted medical certificate from February 2006 to September 12, 2006.

Surprisingly, Brijraj worked as unpaid personal advisor to previous MD Shyam Lal for a few days in January 2006. It was only after UPHCL officers and employees raised a lot of hue and cry that he was removed from the said post.

Agitated employee leaders had handed him over to the Kakadev police for his alleged interference in official work. However, no police action was initiated against him as Lal did not initiate any official action.

Talking to the Hindustan Times, Tiwari said that he was in the know about Brijraj and his illegal activities.
