US dollar sharply cheaper against rupee

The Pound Sterling, however, closed expensive at Rs 79.62/64 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange.

The US Dollar ended sharply cheaper against the rupee at Rs 45.12/14 per dollar but the Pound Sterling closed expensive at Rs 79.62/64 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) market here on Monday.
