Actress Kirron Kher has supported husband Anupam Kher’s decision to walk out of the film Dear Friend Hitler as the sentiments of many were at stake.

. “He turned down the role because sentiments of many people were at stake. In the past Mel Brooks and Charlie Chaplin have played the role, but they were just spoofing,” Kirron said.

Anupam has offered to compensate the producers by doing another film in lieu of this one.
