Young girl chased to death by molesters on motorbike

An 18-year-old girl riding a scooter home with her younger sister after celebrating Mahashtamai Day was chased to death by two men who “harassed and leched” after them on a motorbike” on National Highway-32 in Dhanbad .

Mona Tirki, the 15 years old sibling girl who survived, said: “They were two and were chasing us ill-intentionally. My sister wanted to save us and reach a safer place to shake them off. But they rammed their bike in the back of our Scooty, and we collided with the divider on the highway”.

Mona said the men sped away after hitting us.

“My sister received head injury. The locals brought us to a private nursing home, from where we were referred to PMCH,” said Mona who received multiple injuries. At PMCH, doctors declared Puja Tikri brought dead.

“After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family,” said officer in-charge of Gobindpur police station.

Police have registered a case against unidentified men.
