The drone surveillance started following a high alert in all security installations in the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.

The camp is spread over a 100 acres and the results from the drone camera are being monitored to detect any disturbance inside the premises.

DIG (CRPF), Rajiv Ranjan Kumar said that the security in the CRPF camp is very strict, but they have put the drone camera for extra precaution. “The CRPF DG in Delhi has issued a high alert following tension between India and Pakistan so we are using the drone. He said special teams have been formed for ground surveillance,” the DIG said.

The local police too are on alert. Neemuch SP Manoj Kumar Singh said that they are keeping a close watch on any suspicious activity around the CRPF camp and also the Opium Alkaloid factory, the biggest in Asia, following the alert.
