Bye-elections are slated to be held at Ratlam Lok Sabha and Dewas Vidhan Sabha on November 21.

The names would be announced after they are approved by the national election committee of the BJP. The national leadership is expected to go by the recommendation of the state election committee.

At both places, the party has decided to field kin of the incumbents whose deaths necessitated the by-polls.

While BJP MLA Nirmala Bhuria is the daughter of late Dilip Singh Bhuria who was sitting MP of Ratlam Lok Sabha seat, Gayatri Raje is the widow of erstwhile Dewas royal late Tukoji Puar, who represented Dewas in the assembly and whose death necessitated the by-polls in Dewas.
