IPL: Kings XI Punjab defeat leaders Gujarat Lions by 23 runs

Newcomers Gujarat Lions will aim to continue their superb form in front of their home crowd when they take on Kings XI Punjab in Rajkot.

Newcomers Gujarat Lions will aim to continue their superb form in front of their home crowd when they take on Kings XI Punjab at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Rajkot on Sunday.

The Lions have won six of the seven matches they have played so far and are at the top of the standings with 12 points. They will take further encouragement from the fact that they defeated Punjab by five wickets in their last match in Mohali. Punjab on the other hand, are lying at the bottom of the table with only two points from six matches.
