Metro services in Kolkata were badly affected during the morning rush hour Tuesday following a crack which developed on the tracks at Central station.

Metro services in the city were badly affected during the morning rush hour Tuesday following a crack which developed on the tracks at Central station.
A Metro spokesman said that services were suspended from 10.20 AM till 11.30 AM.
He said that panel operators and station staff noticed a crack on the tracks at Central station after which the control room was informed.
Normal services resumed after the fault was repaired.
