Campus Ka Mahayuddh: Aaja Meri Audi Mein Baithja
It is the aan, baan, shaan of any college. In the quest to find the coolest college on campus, today we throw the spotlight on the Best Auditorium.
Swanky seating, plush interiors, state of the art sound system — the description may be fitting for a sedan or a theatre, but it’s auditoriums in Delhi colleges we’re talking about! For students with the gift of the gab or those with a penchant for dance or drama, their respective college auditoriums lend them the perfect stage to showcase their talent to the world. And so, in the hunt for the coolest college on campus, we tried to find out which of these has the best auditorium in the city.
We invited Radhika Aggarwal from Gargi College and Aishwarya Chandok from JMC to know who ruled when it came to the college audis.
Radhika, who was supported by RJ Khurafati Nitin, took the plunge and argued, "Our auditorium has everything that a good auditorium requires. From good lights to green rooms, it boasts of the biggest stage in DU. It has a basement too, and can therefore host big events."
Aishwarya, who was supported by RJ Rhicha, took no time and rebutted, "Our auditorium has all this and more. It is air-conditioned and even has conference rooms. We have many exit doors — agar kisi ko kuch boring lage, to woh peeche se aaram se nikal sakta hai! And our audi is beautiful from outside too, making it the perfect background for taking ‘selfies’."
Plenty of spirited arguments later, Gargi college was adjudged the winner by actor Sunny Leone.
