Bhumi Pednekar attends Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi screening in a silk saree
Bhumi Pednekar's gold tissue silk saree and statement blouse for the Heeramandi screening event are from the shelves of Manish Malhotra's eponymous label. The designer recently launched his Banaras collection, which he showcased on the ghats of Kashi, and Bhumi's drape is part of the same line. The actor shared the photos of her look on Instagram with the caption, “Dressed to celebrate the magician for Heeramandi wearing the magician @manishmalhotra05 @manishmalhotraworld Pure Opulence.”
The Manish Malhotra tissue silk saree comes in a bronze-gold shade and features broad gold borders adorned with gota patti embroidery, sequin embellishments, and threadwork. Bhumi wore the six yards in traditional draping style, letting the pallu fall from her shoulder in a floor-sweeping length and pleats on the front.
Bhumi teamed the saree with a sleeveless blouse matching the borders of the pallu. The statement choli features a plunging halter neckline, a backless design, a cropped midriff-baring hem, a fitted bust detail, bead embellishments, and intricate embroidery.
Meanwhile, for the accessories, Bhumi chose statement earrings and rings. Black peep-toe suede pumps with killer high heels rounded off the styling. Lastly, for the glam picks, Bhumi opted for darkened brows, shimmery brown eye shadow, winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, rouge on the cheekbones, glossy berry pink lips, and highlighter on the contours. Centre-parted loose locks styled in soft waves rounded off the traditional look.
