Three cops gang rape woman in Kasganj

In another blot on the UP police, three constables allegedly gang raped a woman in Amanpur (Kasganj) after forcible taking her away from her house following a raid. Reports said that on Thursday evening a woman of Nagla Khari village under Amapur police station and about two dozen villagers came to the office of the SP and alleged that three constables of Amapur police station had raped her.

The victim lodged a complaint with SP (Kasganj). Govind Agarwal, DIG (Aligarh range) told HT that, “an inquiry is being conducted into the allegations by the woman. I have given orders to SP (Kasganj) to probe the matter and punish the guilty, if any. Today, I am myself conducting an inquiry in Kasganj.” Reports said that on Thursday evening a woman of Nagla Khari village under Amapur police station and about two dozen villagers came to the office of the SP and alleged that three constables of Amapur police station had raped her.
