A part of the road going toward Ambedkar Road gave in to the night-long stormy weather. Corporator Swapna Mhatre said, “The stores along the road also got damaged after the two big trees fell down.”

Officials from the disaster control room said that the trees fell on the compound along the road, damaging a car parked nearby. “Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials are at the spot, and are putting up barricades around that area,” said officials.
