Police arrest three for murder in Dombivli
Officials believe that betrayal and black magic led to the murder.
The Manpada police have arrested three men in connection with the murder of the businessman who was found in his car with his throat slit in Dombivli on September 9.

One of the accused, Jaideep Rasal, 34, is the cousin of the victim. The cops also arrested Parsuram Patil, 80, and Jaideep’s friend Chandu Gaikwad, 32.
Satish Rasal, 42, a resident of Nilje Gaon Dombivli (East), was found murdered with his throat slit in his car at Dombivli. A rickshaw driver first saw the deceased and intimated the family members.
Officials believe that betrayal and black magic led to the murder.
Senior inspector Shailendra Nagarkar, who is investigating the case, said, “Jaideep is a staunch believer of black magic and has been in constant touch with Parsuram Patil, who practises it. On the day of the murder, he approached Patil with weapon and asked him to bless it so that he succeeds in his intentions.”
The police also found that Jaideep would torture his wife because of which she had left him.
“Jaideep used to take his wife to Patil often and asked him to reveal her extra-marital affairs. This happened so often that his wife left him,” said Nagarkar. “She got in touch with Satish who took advantage of her. Jaideep came to know about everything and plotted against Satish to kill him.”
The accused has confessed to the crime and said the plan was to pretend that he was out of petrol and call Satish to pick him up.
