Thane civic chief’s wife, daughter get dengue in Mumbai

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) chief however said there were no cases of dengue in Thane.

Confirming that his wife, Siddhi, and daughter, Sneha, were diagnosed with dengue last week, the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) chief said there were no cases of dengue in Thane. “My wife and daughter reside in Mumbai, while I reside in Thane. They contracted dengue in Mumbai. Both of them are better now.”

Sandeep Malvi, public relations officer of TMC said, “Sneha and Siddhi were admitted to Jupiter Hospital on July 9 after they were diagnosed with dengue. However, there is not a single case of dengue in Thane, and both of them were residing in Bandra, in Mumbai, when they contracted the disease.”
