Maharashtra records 4,922 new Covid-19 cases, 95 deaths

Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 4,922 new Covid-19 cases and 95 deaths, taking the tally to 1,847,509 and toll to 47,694, with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 2.58%

A few years ago the municipal corporation had looked at the idea of having locker rooms where students could leave their books after class without having to cart them from home and back. The idea was never implemented.

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) along with an NGO, Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth, collected floral waste generated during the festival to convert them into fertilisers at a unit set up in Kopri.
