Two men arrested for stealing shoes, bags worth Rs40,000 from Mumbai mall

According to the police, the 23-year-olds, Dharmendra Yadav and Ravi Nishant, recently joined the store in Malad (West) and quit within a few days.

The police recently arrested two employees of a shopping mall in Malad for stealing shoes and bags worth Rs40,000.

According to the police, the 23-year-olds, Dharmendra Yadav and Ravi Nishant, recently joined the store in Malad (West) and quit within a few days.

“They befriended mall employees during their stint. On July 14, they entered the mall after the stores shut down. They broke open the window of the store and stole bags and shoes of a popular brand,” said a police officer.

The police checked for CCTV footage of the mall.

While Yadav was traced to his house in Jogeshwari, Nishant was arrested from Kandivli.

The accused have been arrested on charges of house break-in theft.
