MAHAD:When Govind Jadhav, 62, a farmer from Dalbatani village in Ratnagiri, boarded a Mumbai-bound ST bus on Tuesday night to see his ailing son in a city hospital, his family hardly had any idea that it will possibly be the last time that they would see him.

The authorities have no clue about his whereabouts even after five days of the incident.

“It’s been five days since the accident but we have no news about our brother,” said Chandrakant, Jadhav’s younger brother, who has been staying in the government help centre.

Jadhav was worried about his ailing son, Vinod, who had been admitted to KEM Hospital in Mumbai after he developed a major liver problem around twelve days ago, and decided to visit him.
