MUMBAI: The Ghatkopar police on Monday arrested a 24-yearold involved in picking pockets of metro commuters while using a stolen pass. Mohamed Shaikh used to commute on Ghatkopar-Andheri route only for picking pockets. Preliminary investigation has revealed that he was involved in at least six theft cases. Shaikh used to dress well to avoid any suspicion. He found a metro pass in one of stolen wallets. “The police have recovered Rs14,200 cash from him,” said Venkat Patil, senior police inspector of Ghatkopar police station.
